You can enjoy the fruits for a long time, too-they hold their flavor for up to 6 months in storage. Olympic Giant Asian Pear's super hardy trees begin bearing fruit in their third year, and they require no sprays. Fruits ripen in mid to late October. 700 chill hours are required for a successful harvest.
