The Telephone Remote Interrupt Control Kit-1 (TRICK) Special version allows you to switch off Brother Faxes and 1-line cordless Panasonic or AT&T Phones. These devices require different wiring to prevent false rings and message errors. Note:The Telephone Remote Interrupt Control Kit-1 (TRICK) Regular version allows you to switch off corded and cordless 1-line telephones, faxes, modems or any phone device using a standard phone jack. We also make two different TRICKs for 2-line phones. The TRICK-2 AND which disconnects both lines at once and the TRICK-2 OR which lets you switch off either line and leave the other on. Included is an adhesive Pad to conveniently mount the control Module securely on the phone, fax or any surface. Also, a 1-ft patch Cord short enough to be concealed. You may also use a longer cord to mount the Module at a more convenient remote location away from the phone. For more than 10 years now, people have come to know the TRICKs to be the answer for peace and quiet. Oh, you could unplug your phone cord, which may not be easily accessible or turn off your device, but then you have to wait for it to reset when you turn it back on. Not practical or efficient, especially if you do it frequently or are in a hurry. TRICKs connect in 3 easy steps: 1. Simply unplug the Cord from your phone and plug it into either control Module jack. 2. Plug one end of the included 1-ft patch Cord into the other control Module jack. 3. Plug the opposite end of the patch Cord back into your phone. Done! Toggle the switch to the Red Arrow and your phone line and ringer are turned Off. No more incoming calls or ringing and you still can get your voicemail messages and caller ID on TVs, with services such as Comcast and others. Toggle the switch to the Green Arrow and your phone line and ringer are turned back On. Now, you can turn off your Business Phone for an uninterrupted lunch or after hours, especially if it is a Home Business. Avoid annoying solicitors, robo-calls and scammers. Stop junk faxes on your machine by switching the line off when it's not in use. Perfect for people who work night shifts to turn their phone off during the daytime. Also, allow patients or anyone needing peace and quiet to avoid the ringing by turning off their phone line. With the safe and simple TRICK, you can rest assured that you are not at risk of having any of these things happen ever again.
