Additional pruning may promote fresh flushes of red leaves in spring and summer, although possibly at the expense of flowers. Leaves are 3 in. to 4 in. L. Flowers are white and arrive in spring, nearly covering the leaves at peak bloom. This red tip photinia hybrid can be shaped into a small specimen tree. Somewhat drought tolerant once established and appreciates good air circulation. Grows to 8 ft. to 10 ft. high and 6 ft. to 8 ft. W. Prefers well-drained soil. Provide full to part sun. Flowers in spring. Hardy to Zone 6/minus 5°.
