When paired with your 840 Edge, the Varia radar (sold separately) displays alerts for approaching cars from behind and if an incident occurs, the Edge can automatically send your location to an emergency contact in the event of an emergency. Daily suggested workouts with targeted adaptive coaching will show riders training prompts on the Edge 840 that pertain specifically to your current training loads, recovery rates, and upcoming events.
