These bulbs are equipped with an integrated switch with six settings that allows you to choose the color temperature or unique DuoBright technology prior to lighting installation. The first 5 settings to choose from are standard color temperatures: 27000K (Soft White), 3000K (Bright White), 35000K (Neutral White), 4000K (Cool White) and 5000K (Daylight). The 6th setting is to select DuoBright technology, which is designed to be used on a dimmer switch. On the DuoBright setting, the bulb will emit 5000K (Daylight) when the dimmer switch is set to full brightness. When the bulb is dimmed, the color temperature will slowly transition from 5000K to 2000K (Sunset Glow). Duobright technology allows you to change the color temperature after installation in order to meet your preferences at the exact moment. The BR30 bulb is designed for indoor or enclosed fixtures and features a medium E26 base. Using only 14.5 watts to produce 1400 lumens, these bulbs use 85% less energy than traditional 100-watt incandescent light bulbs and will reduce household energy costs over the course of their 25,000 hour lifetime.
