Lapping our favorite downhill trails to all-day enduro rides, the Santa Cruz Heckler is our go-to choice when we are looking for a bike that can take us further while still being siper capable. The Heckler is a mid-travel e-Bike with slack and aggressive geometry, mixed wheels, and 150mm of VPP suspension. The Heckler recently saw some geometry improvements, making the chainstays longer, the head tube slacker, and the reach longer, all aiding in downhill and uphill performance. With a slack 64. 8-degree head tube angle and a 76. 7-degree seat tube angle in the high setting, the Heckler allows us to shred the downhills while keeping us in an efficient position when climbing. The Shimano EP8 motor has more power and is lighter than previous versions. Eco, Trail, and boost modes allow us to use the optimal power for our terrain, boosting us up those difficult climbs or conserving battery on the flats. A bigger 730Wh battery means we can extend our ride to the next peak without worrying about losing power or getting tired, and the battery is interchangeable, so we can take it out and plug in a fresh one. The MX R build of the Santa Cruz Heckler is the entry-level build and offs quality components that get the job done and won't break the bank. This model of the Heckler is equipped with Santa Cruz's Carbon C frame for a lightweight and stiff frame. SRAM's NX Eagle drivetrain provides us with a 12-speed drivetrain that has a huge gear range and a proven reputation. Next, WTB ST i30 TCS 2. 0 aluminum rims bring us a wheelset that is durable and ready to take us through the roughest trails without worry. Premium Maxxis tires provide reliable grip on the descents, and the rear DHRII tire features a Double Down casing for extra flat protection and support for e-Bikes. The RockShox Zeb or Lyrik, 160mm fork soaks up big hits and keep us under control on steep descents, while the RockShox Super Deluxe Select rear shock brings us ground-gripping traction, allowing us to descen...
