Picotee Mix Ranunculus - Picotee Mix Buttercups have two toned blooms in early summer. Buttercups prefer to be planted in cool, but not cold conditions, ideally day time temperatures in the 60's. For warm climates (zones 8-11) buttercups will be perennial in nature, putting on blooms, going dormant to grow and bloom again. In colder climates buttercups will need to be lifted prior to the ground freezing, as they do not tolerate cold temperatures. Buttercups are very nice for fresh cut flowers and bouquets. They can also be grown in container gardens. *These bulbs will need at least 4-6 weeks of cool (evening 40-50 & daytime 60-75) weather to sprout. If too warm, they will stay dormant.
