The efficient brushless motor delivers up to 6,000 RPM for faster cutting. The XRU23SM1 is equipped with a high/low button for power and run time management. There is also a variable speed trigger, allowing users to match the speed to the application. The easy-loading bump and feed trimmer head is preloaded with 0.080 in. twist line and can be loaded in seconds with 3 easy steps, align, feed and twist. The XRU23SM1 also features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT). XPT is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. The kit includes a charger and an 18-Volt LXT 4.0 Ah battery.
