Weigela Very Fine Wine Live Plant

Weigela "Very Fine Wine" is a brand new plant this year. First there was Weigela Wine and Roses which I sell and is very popular, a large shrub with dark foliage and pink blossoms in the Spring. Weigela "Very Fine Wine" is a brand new plant this year. First there was Weigela Wine and Roses which I sell and is very popular, a large shrub with dark foliage and pink blossoms in the Spring. Then there was Weigela Spilled Wine (which grows low and wide) and Weigela Fine Wine which was medium size. Now there is Weigela Very Fine Wine which is an improved version of Weigela Fine Wine which has a normal growth pattern (ie not low and wide like Spilled Wine) but doesn't get as large as Wine and Roses making it more suitable for small yards, small areas, or just the middle of a garden border vs the back which is where Wine and Roses belongs. So basically if you have a garden border, Weigela Spilled Wine is for the front, Very Fine Wine is for the middle, Wine and Roses is for the back. That is your height gradient. I sell all three. So Weigela is a mostly evergreen shrub with lovely pink flowers in the Spring that is deer resistant. It prefers full sun. Weigela Very Fine Wine will get about 30" x 30" and I ship it in 3.5 inch starter pots with plants about 12" tall. For best effect consider pairing any of the Wine Weigela with a yellow or chartreuse foliage plant like a golden barberry, Evil Ways Butterfly Bush, or Summer Skies butterfly bush, all of which I sell.
