This USS Constitution Tall Model Ship is a fine example of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The 24" long model ship replica of Old Ironsides, the US Navy's oldest and most famous fighting tall ship, is built from scratch by master artisans using high quality woods including cherry, birch, maple and rosewood. It features gun ports actually cut into the hull, an authentic scale lifeboat and 23 masterfully stitched heavy canvas sails that hold shape without wrinkling. Taut rigging with varied thread gauge and color adds to its authenticity while a wooden display base prominently displays the nameplate: USS Constitution.
