When you close the door, the PowerStep also folds shut, keeping it out of the way and retaining the streamlining and aerodynamics of the area unchanged. Each side has a 600 lb load capacity, so even if youre laden down with gear the PowerStep can easily support you. Beefy Build. The Amp Research PowerStep is made from extremely strong die-cast aluminum alloy with a mil-spec (military grade) Ptfe coated anodized finish. Pivot pins are solid stainless steel and the all-weather bushings are self-lubricating. The wiring harness and electric motors that operate the step are also weatherproofed. Warranty. Made in the USA for quality and workmanship, this component comes with a standard 5 year or 60,000-mile warranty. Application. The Amp Research PowerStep is made to fit all versions of the 2-door 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK generation).
