Torqeedo Travel 1003 CS Electric Outboard Motor (short shaftwith larger battery) 3 HP Fresh or Saltwater Torqeedo's best-selling electric outboard, the Travel 1003 C is now available with a larger 915Wh battery for new longer run times. With its integrated lithium battery and its outstanding efficiency, the Travel 1003 CL can do everything a small gasoline-powered outboard can, but it's lighter, cleaner, quieter and more convenient. And the battery new Travel 1003 CS comes with 73 percent more battery capacity at an almost identical weight, which means more time on the water. The Travel 1003 CS ( short shaft) has a shaft length of just under 30 inches and is great alternative for dinghies, inflatables, jon boats, daysailers, and small boats up to 1.5 tons. With 68 lbs of thrust, the 1,000-watt (3.0 hp equivalent) motor packs a powerful punch and with Torqeedos optimized propulsion system, its faster and more efficient than any trolling motor, and it shows real endurance when it matters. When used on a standard sized inflatable or jon boat, you can expect an average run-time of approximately 6 hours of run-time and a range of up to approximately 18 miles at half throttle and approximately 17.5 hours of run-time and a range of up to 35 miles at low speed.
