Weighing only 1.2 grains, it's made of extremely durable, nondeforming vane material so you can spend more time shooting and less time re-fletching. The Griffin Vane has a straight base that can be fletched by hand or using a standard Pro Class style jig. Bohning recommends fletching with glue but you may opt to use double-sided tape (not included). A small plastic clamp adaptor is included for free with each pack of Griffin Vanes - those fletching by hand find this adaptor particularly useful. If you're fletching with a jig, you may find it's easier to skip the adaptor and insert the vane directly into the clamp. The Griffin Vane measures 1in in length, 0.21in in height, and weighs an average of 1.2 grains. Like all Bohning vanes, the base of the Griffin Vane is pre-primed for optimal adhesion.
