The gracefully spreading limbs gently unfold to attain a unique aquatic shape reminiscent of coral. Widely planted in traditional Japanese gardens, this slender conifer has a strong visual appeal to offer without taking up too much valuable landscape space. Hinoki Cypresses require very little in the way of maintenance as they are virtually unsusceptible to diseases and pests. The Dwarf Hinoki Cypress lives most comfortably in USDA Cold Hardiness Zones 4 to 9 and reaches a mature height of 10 ft. with a spread of 4 ft.
