Fragrant white blooms appear in late spring. Red berries in the fall add to the beauty of this shrub. Can be used to create a formal hedge, but looks its best when pruned more naturally. Works also as a mass planting or for privacy. LeAnn Cleyera Care Plant in well-drained slightly acidic soil, watering regularly to establish and weekly thereafter.. Fertilize in spring with a slow-release fertilizer. Prune after flowering to maintain compact shape or to maintain desired height when used as a hedge.
