Aquilegia caerulea Red and white Kirigami™ blooms earlier in the spring and can keep going well into early summer with occasional deadheading and little maintenance. This columbine is disease and pest resistant, so the dark green foliage stays clear and clean all season. Columbine is wonderful to naturalize in wildflower meadows and pollinator gardens. The mounded shape and masses of flowers look great at the front of a garden border or combined with other seasonal plants for a cheerful spring planter. The cut flowers are long lasting and add informal charm to arrangements.
