Botanically known as Muhlenbergia reverchonii, this perennial grass is long lived and tough and looks magical in the winter sun.Hardy in zones 5 to 9, the Undaunted® Muhly Grass is both heat and drought tolerant once established. It has an upright yet arching habit and grows to around 30 inches tall. This ornamental grass is perfect for growing as a specimen or en masse in a border. Requiring little ongoing care, it is considered low maintenance. Undaunted® Muhly Grass CareThe Undaunted® Muhly Grass performs best when it is given full sun. It can tolerate a little shade, but too much may cause it to flop. When it comes to the soil, a free-draining substrate is essential. Water regularly for the first year.
