Partial Shade to Full Sun (At Least 4 Hours of Direct Sunlight)Mature Height 4 - 12 InchesMature Spread 1 - 2 FeetGrowing Zones 10 - 11Use As A Spiller In ContainersFor a mass of cheerful yellow blooms all summer long, check out the Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia. Producing large yellow flowers that slightly fade towards the edges, this petunia hybrid continues to bloom even without deadheading. It grows up to 1 foot high but will trail or spread up to 3 feet. Perfect for growing in a container or elsewhere. Ideal as both a thriller and a spiller, the Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia is suitable for hanging baskets, pots and even the front of a border. It is a great annual for adding some cheer and enticing hummingbirds and pollinators into your garden. Petunias are frost tender and hardy in zones 10 and 11.Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia CareThe Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia grows in full sun to partial shade. It is a hungry annual and benefits from a slow-release fertilizer applied at the time of planting. Fertilize container-grown plants with a liquid feed every 2 weeks over the growing season. Water frequently, but allow the soil to dry out slightly in between sessions. No deadheading is needed. However, leggy plants can be refreshed by trimming stems back by one-third. As a tender annual, petunias die back with the first frost. When grown in a container, more frequent watering will be needed to prevent the soil from drying out. Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia SpacingThe Supertunia® Saffron Finch™ Petunia grows 4 to 12 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. You can space this petunia hybrid 18 to 24 inches apart depending on the desired effect.
