Euonymus Green Spire will grow to be about 6 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of up to 2 feet. It grows at a fast rate and, under ideal conditions, can be expected to live for approximately 30 years or more. These hardy shrubs perform well in both full sun and part shade. They are very adaptable to both dry and moist locations and should do just fine under average home landscape conditions. Additionally, these Evergreen plants are highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. Euonymus Green Spire is a suitable substitute for boxwoods in areas of the country that are experiencing problems with Boxwood Blight. Green Spire shrubs can be planted directly into the areas where the infected boxwoods have been removed from with no waiting period.
