This Compacta holly plant can be pruned in a pyramidal shape and placed in containers as a centerpiece. When planting it, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 0.5" above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow-release granular fertilizer in Spring and expose to full sun or partial shade to achieve best results.
