When planting this Blue Pacific, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow-release granular fertilizer in spring. This juniper is significantly heat-tolerant and hardy in USDA Zones 5-9. You can plant in full sun to part sun for best results.
