Crazy Shasta Daisy is a perennial, white flowering plant growing 24 - 28 inches tall This upright plant will bloom all summer long with its white, double flowering blooms. Remove faded flowers down to the next bud to extend bloom period. Large, white, 2 1/2 inch flowers have a yellow eye on plants growing 24 - 28 inches tall with dark green leaves. Grows best in full sun in well drained soils. Sow 3 - 4 of these flower seeds per plant and space 18 -24 inches apart. Shasta Daisy flowers will not bloom the first year, but grow slowly to get established. It will then be a prolific bloomer in successive years. Shastas are one of the best daisies to grow from wild flower seed! Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum Leucanthemum Shasta Crazy Daisy) - A dazzling display of double flowers, often quilled or fringed and always excellent for cutting. Attractive in butterfly gardens, or combined with other perennials such as poppy or yarrow. Remove faded flowers down to the next bud to extend bloom period.
