This means lots of moisture, and shade tolerance. These flowers love water and will grow well in almost any wet spot. Extremely easy to grow from seed in early spring or fall after frosts. Forget me not like many gorund cover seeds is a ready self-seeder. To encourage reseeding, leave spent flowers on the plants well after they have faded. Sowing Rate: 2 ounces per 1,000 square feet or 5 pounds per acre. Forget-me-not does especially well under trees or large shrubs but also thrives in lightly shaded rock gardens and flower beds.
