Description
This Western native grass seed mixture of warm and cool-season grasses grows to a height of 12 to 36 inches. It may be planted alone or with a mixture of wildflowers. This mixture usually contains: 37% Bluebunch Wheatgrass, 16% Indian Ricegrass, 16% Idaho Fescue, 12% Sandberg Bluegrass, 11% Blue Wildrye, 4% Turkey Lake Squirrel Tail Grass, and 4% Prairie Junegrass. Planting times: The best time to plant grass mix is spring through summer. Plant in spring or early summer if seeding with wildflowers. Planting range: For use in the Intermountain region below 5,500 feet elevation. Seed at 1/2 - 1 LB per 1,000 SF.
