The first pizza oven to be recommended for at-home use by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, the Ooni Karu takes the power of a traditional wood-fired oven and packs it into a sleek, efficient cooker thats right at home on your patio. Fueled by wood or charcoal, its also compatible with gas when used with the Ooni Karu 16 Gas Burner attachment (sold separately). You can choose to cook with wood or charcoal for a traditional experience and distinctive wood-fired flavor-or opt for convenience and consistency with gas. After just 15 minutes of preheating, the Karu 16 can reach 950°F, ideal for making flame-cooked pizza, seared steaks, fire-grilled veggies and more. Prepare a rustic Neapolitan-style pie with your favorite toppings-think classic Margherita, savory Prosciutto and mushroom or your own creation-in just 60 seconds. The Karus custom-designed fuel tray maximizes airflow and delivers a powerful flame that eliminates hotspots while creating a tender crust and crisp toppings.
