The shelves are made of hardwood veneer over engineered hardwood. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent color tones, and that will not be subject to cracking. Finished by hand in a stain that accentuates the wood's subtle knots and burls, then sealed with a protective lacquer. Simple assembly. Imported. Care To protect finish; do not apply abrasives or household cleaners, dust with soft dry cloth. Always use coasters, pads cloth or felt to protect furniture surface. Wipe up spills immediately. Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive temps. Hardware may loosen over time, periodically check to make sure all connections are tight and retighten if necessary.
