In ten years it will be 10 feet tall and 4 feet wide - a graceful column of fern-like foliage that emerges in spring bright gold, and it remains gold on the tips all year round. In winter it glows with a dusting of sunlight that brightens every part of your garden. This tree is easily grown in most garden soils from zone 5 to zone 8, needing no detailed care at all. It makes a beautiful specimen on a lawn, or you can create a magnificent hedge or screen with it, outclassing other fast-growing plain-green evergreens, and growing almost as quickly. This very special classic tree is admired wherever it is seen. - Glowing golden spring foliage - Dusted with golden tips all year round - Fast-growing upright form, with ferny foliage - Easily grown in ordinary garden conditions - Very special specimen, hedge or screen Cripps Hinoki Cypress grows best in moist, rich, well-drained soil.
