Garmin Tread Group Ride Radio - Garmin Tread Group Ride Radio Equip your compatible Garmin Tread™ with Group Ride Radio to get powerful functionality that your GPS cant pull off alone-or replace the Group Ride Radio you destroyed somewhere along the trail. Youll be able to track and talk to up to 20 other riders at the same time. Itll make your next off-road adventure with the crew less like herding cats and more like a pack of lions on the hunt. Stay Connected Even Miles Apart: The Group Ride Radio helps you stay connected no matter what the trail throws at you. It has a range of up to 2 miles, so even if your buds "accidentally" leave you eating their dust, youll be able to find their location and rendezvous. Its water resistant too, so you dont have to worry about crossing creek beds or standard trail mud (but maybe avoid scuba diving). Two Different Mic Options: Youve got two options when youre using this radio: the included hand mic or a hands-free Bluetooth connection. The hand mic has great sound and a retro, ham-radio-esque look that makes you look like you mean business. If youve already got a helmet with a Bluetooth headset, you can use the Tread app on your phone to connect it to your Garmin. That way you can use the Bluetooth connection instead of the hand mic. Features: Requires Tread or Tread XL navigators Overland Edition SxS Edition Baja Chase Edition Baja Race Edition Allows you to track and stay connected with up to 20 riders Supports VHF radio frequencies and in-helmet Bluetooth systems IPX7 weather-resistant rating Max range of 2 miles (depending on terrain), average 1 mile Setup is a breeze Notes: Requires Tread or Tread XL navigators-Does NOT include GPS unit/screen.
