The blooms are a rich shade of red, with neatly "pinked" edges, and the foliage is a rich shade of blue. Held well below the foliage, it keeps 'Fire Star' attractive all summer.Most striking is this new Dianthus's resistance to heat, though. Unlike others, which tend to melt out in long hot summers, 'Fire Star' holds up beautifully. It doesn't mind a bit of drought, either!This Dianthus is a great choice for any setting.
