Huge clusters of flowers appear in spring with four to nine blooms on each stem. Although the leaves turn to shades of purple and even orange heading into winter, they persist through the cold season and brighten back to green in spring. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 8. Each offer includes one dormant bare root starter plant grown in a 3 inch pot. Botanical name: Rhododendron 'PJM Elite Star' PP27780.
