This plant is remarkable because it has red, burgundy and pink blooms, which is rare for a hydrangea arborescens. These beautiful flowers are held upright by very strong stems, helping these shrubs keep a nice mounded form. These shrubs bloom on new growth, and bloom without fail every single year. If you have had trouble in the past with your hydrangeas not blooming, this is the plant for you! These take minimal maintenance, and look beautiful from early summer to late fall! Invincibelle Ruby Hydrangea Care Like most smooth hydrangeas, these are very easy to care for. Plant in a location with at least 6 hours of sunlight (full sun). The plant needs well-drained but moist soil. We recommend adding mulch to help keep the soil moist during dry periods.
