The pink or blue bloom color depends on your soil pH. Alkaline soils produce pink blooms and acidic soils produce shades of blue. The plant grows 3- to 5-feet tall and wide. It has bright green foliage from spring through summer. In fall the foliage turns a pretty red color. It prefers part shade. Plant this beautiful flowering shrub grouped together in garden beds or combine them with other annuals and perennials for a mix of seasonal color.
