This mix, Angel Wings, produces orchid-like flowers that rise above a ferny foliage. The colors include shades of pink, red, lavender, rose, and bi-color. Grow Butterfly Flower in full sun to partial shade. It does well in the flower border or in containers. Wherever it is grown, the butterflies cannot leave it alone! In spring, start the seed indoors 4 6 weeks before the end of frost season, or directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Press the seed into the soil, cover it lightly, and keep it moist. Given temperatures of 60 70F, germination is usually within 21 days. Space the plants 12 inches apart.
