Callistephus Tall Double, also known as Tiger Paw flower has large double blooms from mid summer to fall and long stems making it a wonderful cut flower. These tall heirloom flowers reach a height of 30 inches and are used to make floral arrangements but are also perfect as container plants or in a flower garden and are very attractive to butterflies. Sow these heirloom seeds in well-drained soil at 3 - 5 seeds per plant and keep moist until germination occurs in 7 - 21 days. Our seeds are always Non-GMO and packaged for the current year. These tall Asters are butterfly magnets! Callistephus Tall Double Gremlin is the variety name, and they reach 30 inches in height. Sometimes they are referred to as Tiger Paw Aster or Krallen Aster. This variety loves full sun or partial shade and rich, well-draining soil. The Gremlin variety has large flowers with curved, twisted petals. The mix includes colors of light and dark rose, red, lavender blue, yellow, and dark violet. They make a wonderful cut flower. Sow the seed indoors in the spring for transplanting outside after frost season ends. Thinly cover the seeds with soil and keep them moist.
