They come in various shapes and lengths and have been in common use around the world for hundreds of vears. This model is an Amesbury Style Skiff, a type of Dinghy designed for use as a yacht tender. It is easily built using the same parts & techniques as the full-size boat. It makes an excellent first project for those intrested in small boat construction.
