He does a superb job of playing the increasingly eccentric exile and is consistently believable as the character. The movie is a great addition to the story of how humans can adapt in the most strenuous of circumstances and is a great deal for 20 bucks. It is a Tom Hanks fan's favorite and is sure to be enjoyed by many.
