When this sensor detects motion or heat, it will automatically turn the awning lights on. This is a great security feature, as well as a convenient backup if youreturning to your RV after dark and need some light to get inside. The sensor range is approximately 8th a 180-degree radius from its mounting location and can be armed with the press of a button. Installation is one step: snap the unit into place on the bottom of the arm, just beneath the touchpad. Auto Rain Dump One thing that can quickly ruin your camping trip is a broken awning.
