The new Thunderheader™ X-Series™ for Touring is our large diameter exhaust specifically designed for big cubic inch engines, built to produce big numbers The X-Series™ is designed with 2 in. primary tubes with a 12 degree transition chamber to allow more exhaust flow Unique patented baffle in conjunction with the trademark tail cone is designed to allow a free-flowing exhaust while creating an anti-reversion condition in the pipe which will aid the air/fuel flow on the intake stroke to allow more fuel into the combustion chamber This means more torque at the low and mid RPM ranges and maximum horsepower at top end The X-Series™ comes complete with heat shields and all mounting hardware, and bungs for both 12mm and 18mm O2 sensors O2 sensor ports are pre-installed with O2 sensor plugs SPECIAL FITMENT NOTE: Requires using flat exhaust gaskets ONLY. If you do not have flat ones you will need to purchase them separately Dennis Kirk P/N 267587. This exhaust will not work with the tapered exhaust gaskets NOTE: Also fits: FLHRSE4 07-08 FLTRSE3 09 FLHTCUSE4 09 Not all products are legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles. Check your local laws and the manufacturers information There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Discoloration (bluing) is the result of tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc., and is not caused by defective manufacturing. See the CHEMS/LUBES section for products that will help prevent or remove bluing. Installation of a new exhaust system may change your motorcycles fuel-air mixture requirements. Please consult the exhaust manufacturer directly with questions regarding any modifications that may need to be made during, or after, installing their product.
