XB08 incorporates high efficiency disk technology producing a clean burning exhaust with greater low end torque, throttle response and power now everywhere throughout the power band. Increased top end horsepower with the same or better fuel economy over the stock design. No additional fuel needed from a fuel controller or Power Commander to compensate for the shorter pipes. This is a tuned exhaust system with a careful balance of low end torque and top end power delivery. Disk pipe delivers deep tone that is not excessively loud like most short aftermarket pipes. It has superior heat and corrosion resistance and has been tested to automotive specifications and meets or exceeds standards of performance for exhaust and muffler coatings. Heat resistance in excess of 1100 degrees and continuous testing for 48 hours at 800 degrees show this coating to hold its color, gloss and physical integrity at this service temperature. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees.This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing.
