Extremely floriferous, the plant blankets its attractive foliage with clusters of star-shaped flowers at every node. The small baby pink blooms have a bright yellow throat and a slight, sweet, floral fragrance that attracts bees and butterflies. Mature stems have exfoliating light grayish brown bark that extends the season of interest into winter.Highly adaptable, Kolkwitzia Jolene Jolene has a rapid growth rate and a compact form that is especially nice for planting under trees.
