Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.Carlisle Straight RibFEATURES AND BENEFITS All weather traction; Longer lasting tread life; Increased controllability; OVERVIEWThe Carlisle Straight Rib is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden equipment. The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The smooth ribbed tread design finds firm grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions, while at the same time not damaging the turf. The maintained road contact ensures superb performance and a gentle traction that does not harm the grass field. The ribbed tread pattern decreases the possibility of the uneven tread wear. The smooth ribbed pattern equally spreads the driving pressure along the tread area by keeping the tire close to the road surface. This equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthens the tread life and the tire's usability by preventing irregular tread wear formations. The Straight Rib ensures exceptional controllability. The smooth straight ribs and the rounded shoulders increase the steering responsiveness and driving stability. Their constant road contact stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands. The result is a secure performance in all conditions.Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls. This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
