Communities in several states today are cleaning up after 13 tornado reports in four states yesterday. The threat isn't over for many after an already brutal season. More severe storms could hit parts of Missouri and Arkansas.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Storm systems sweeping across the Midwest have left several people dead, including nine killed after a tornado sparked a mass casualty event in southeastern Kentucky. Kentucky authorities said there were severe injuries as well as a twister tore across Laurel County late Friday.

Cities such as Chicago, Minneapolis and Milwaukee are at risk for a severe weather outbreak, forecasters said.
