The revelation that the criminal case against the music icon could expand came as he made his first appearance in court and a federal judge set a trial date.

In a hearing going on right now in Manhattan, Judge Arun Subramanian told the attending music mogul, his defense team, his mother, and prosecutors that Combs’ sex trafficking trial will begin on May 5, 2025. The timing is in line with what Combs’ lawyers suggested earlier this week in a filing in the federal case.
