Prince Harry became the first high-ranking British royal to take to the witness stand in more than 130 years this week.

Harry was defended from online critics of his phone-hacking lawsuit heard in London this week, by a member of his mother's family.

Harry has told the court he's determined to stop the "madness" of news outlets using alleged unlawful activities to obtain personal information.

Over two grueling days the prince spoke on the witness stand to accuse Mirror Group Newspapers of intercepting his voicemail messages and using other unlawful means to gather information his life.
