GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - For the first time in years, overdose deaths in the state are down. New data from the Centers for Disease Control shows that in April of this year, there was a 10% decline in overdose deaths nationwide, it was the same number here in Wisconsin. There was also a decline in non-fatal overdoses.
