The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show came to a close with the prestigious Best in Show honor being awarded to Penny the Doberman Pinscher.

The breed has taken the top title at the famous dog show — its 150th anniversary — five times. Cota, a Chesapeake Bay retriever, was reserve best in show.

Final round judge David Fitzpatrick  noted that the 2026 lineup of Best Show finalists would "go down in history" as one of Westminster's most impressive.
