Boston 25 News obtained invoices in response to a public records request that show exactly how much the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office paid special prosecutor Hank Brennan during Karen Read’s murder retrial.

Hank Brennan, the special prosecutor tapped to lead the Karen Read retrial, earned more than $560,000 over the course of the roughly nine months he worked on the case, records released Thursday reveal.
