Surviving cub reunited with mother after park staff discover the carcasses of two yearling grizzlies
On Tuesday, May 13, staff at Grand Teton National Park discovered the bodies of two yearling grizzly bears in a closed area south of Colter Bay. The bears were found approximately 250 yards apart.
Adult bears cannot be relocated, so this 800-pound adult male had to be euthanized to protect the public, rangers said.
