The estranged husband of a Florida woman who was found dead inside his storage unit last month has been charged in her slaying, the prosecutors office announced.

Shakeira Rucker died from an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities say they found her body inside a storage unit registered to her estranged husband.

The woman's body was found in a storage unit after someone complained about the smell coming from inside the unit.
