SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – An innocent bystander was hit and killed during a high-speed police chase in Savannah last month, and Wednesday, his family hosted a memorial to celebrate his life.

The sanctuary at Christ Memorial Church was filled to celebrate the life of Darren Lewis. He was a deacon at the church and was described as a man who enjoyed life and having a great time.
